Choices comes with consequences. You have to accept both as a package - Ashish
When is a compromise a good choice?
If you are targeting 10% return and get 5% return; you are targeting to reach your destination in an hour, but it took two; or when an hour sales pitch meeting was reduced to thirty minutes?
Vs
You wanted to complete the project but got distracted by a shiny object and completely abandoned the project; you promised the report this week but forgot till reminded; sincere attempt to grab the ball and run with it or look around for another ball carrier?
As Seth Godin would say, we humans make two common mistakes:
1. Refusing half when it’s a whole lot better than nothing
2. Accepting half when we’d be better off waiting for what we really need
Its the choice we make that defines who we are and the success we have in life. Compromises are not good or bad by definition; it is the choice that is good or bad.
So choose wisely!
